Odisha Police recruitment exam postponed by OPRB till further orders
The Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) has postponed the upcoming examination for Group B posts, which were initially scheduled for March 8th and 9th. While the board has not disclosed specific reasons for the postponement, candidates are advised to keep an eye on official announcements for any updates.
The OPRB stated that the exams are on hold till further orders.
The exams form a crucial part of the recruitment process for policing roles, which are regarded with high esteem in Indian society. Applicants have expressed understanding of the situation but are eager for clarity on when the examinations will eventually take place.
In the meantime, prospective exam takers are encouraged to continue their preparation efforts and ensure they are ready for any announcements on the revised schedule.
Incidentally, on March 8, two crucial public exams including the SBI PO Prelims and Police SI prelims are scheduled to be held whereas on March 9, OPSC Assistant Agriculture Officer (AAO) and Railway Recruitment Board’s RPF Constable Test are set to take place. The Students Against Corruption (SAC) body recently lodged strong protests alleging the lack of coordination between various bodies of the Odisha government as far as recruitments are concerned.
