Odisha constable residence raided by Boudh police

Boudh police raided the residence of a police constable on Monday. Constable Hrudananda Behera, currently serving in the Boudh police department, has been accused of cheating several home guards by falsely promising to arrange loans for them and collecting money under that pretext.

Acting on the direction of the Boudh Superintendent of Police (SP), the police conducted a raid at Behera’s residence located in Nayakpada under Harabhanga block in Odisha. The operation began yesterday afternoon and continued until late in the night.

Important Documents Seized During Raid

During the raid, police seized several important documents from Behera’s house, which are now under examination. Officials believe these papers could provide crucial evidence in the case related to the alleged financial misconduct.

Following the raid, constable Hrudananda Behera was detained by the police for questioning. Authorities have confirmed that further investigation into the matter is currently underway.
