The Odisha government has come up with a standard operating procedure (SOP) to ensure the successful implementation of the holiday homework programme for school students during the ongoing summer vacation.

As per the notification issued by the School and Mass Education department, holiday homework programme for the Students from Class I to X will be held during the summer vacation starting from Monday. All the district administrations have been directed to follow the SOP strictly.

A help desk has been opened in every district for the holiday homework programme from May 1. Four teachers including subject experts have been appointed in each centre to guide the students in their homework. The cell will remain operational on all working days from 6 am to 6 pm except holidays.

A toll-free number has been issued to the students to contact the help desk. They can clarify their doubts regarding homework by calling the number. Teachers will help them in solving their problems.

As per the information stated by the Information and Public Relations Department, the holiday homework programme will be monitored on an everyday basis.
