Overlapping of examination dates continue to haunt aspirants preparing for various recruitment examinations in Odisha.

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has recently rescheduled the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) main examination 2021 after the date clashed with the UPSC personality test.

As per the revised schedule, the OCS main examination will be conducted from February 21 to March 13.

However, it has now come to notice that the date of the civil services examination clashes with that of the regular high school teacher examination. The Odisha Staff Selection Commission has scheduled the examination from March 10 to 13.

Highlighting the overlapping of the date, an aspirant Tapaswini Mohanty took to Twitter and wrote, “Respected Sir, OPSC has rescheduled OCS mains exam from 21st Feb to 13 march. Regular High school teacher exam is also going to be held from 10th march to 13 march. Please sir consider this matter.”

“Respected Sir, As per the notification given by OSSC the preliminary examination for RHT is going to be held from 10.3.23 to 13.03.23. But as per the revised schedule of OPSC, the OCS mains exam is going to be held in that time interval. Both the examinations are important for us,” wrote another aspirant, Bijay Kumar Samal.

“Dear sir, OPSC OCS 2021 mains date (21 Feb - 13th March) is clashing with SSC CGL 2022 mains exam(2nd - 7th march). There are 37000+ vacancies, officially declared by SSC in CGL 2022. Kindly, consider to shift the optional papers planed from 2nd - 7th March,” pointed out a third user, Rakesh Kumar Sahu.
