Odisha govt releases list of holidays for 2025; check full details here

The Odisha government has released the list of holidays for State government offices and the Revenue and Magisterial Court for the calendar year 2025, listing 26 public holidays, including major festivals and national observances. 

A notification issued by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department stated, “The Government of Odisha is pleased to declare that State Government offices and Revenue and Magisterial Courts (Executive) will remain closed on the holidays listed in Annexure-1 for the calendar year 2025, Saka-Era 1946 and 1947.”

The State government also announced the list of optional holidays for its employees. They will have to take the written permission of the authority who is competent to sanction casual leave.
