Odisha Government effects IAS reshuffle 

In a reshuffle in the State bureaucracy, the Odisha Government effected major changes in the IAS cadre on Wednesday. 

Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister, Nikunja Bihari Dhal has been given additional charge as Chairman, IDCO, Bhubaneswar. The additional appointment of IAS Hemant Sharma as Chairman, IDCO, shall cease upon Dhal assuming office, informed a notification of the State government. 

Surendra Kumar, IAS (RR-1993), Additional Chief Secretary of GA & PG Department with additional charge as Additional Chief Secretary of Tourism Department is permitted to continue as Additional Chief Secretary of Parliamentary Affairs Department. Consequently, the additional appointment of IAS G. Mathivathanan as Additional Chief Secretary of the Parliamentary Affairs Department shall cease upon Kumar assuming office.

G. Mathivathanan has been appointed as Director General, Training Coordination of Gopabandhu Academy of Administration. The additional appointment of Anu Garg as Director General, Training Coordination, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, Bhubaneswar, shall cease upon Mathivathanan assuming office.

Hemant Sharma, IAS (RR-1995), Principal Secretary of the Industries Department, with additional charge of Chairman, IPICOL, is permitted to retain additional charge as Principal Secretary of MS & ME Department. The additional appointment of Saswat Mishra as Principal Secretary of MS & ME Department shall cease upon Sharma assuming office, the notification read.

Saswat Mishra, IAS (RR-1996), Principal Secretary to Governor, with additional charge of Chairman, OSSSC, is permitted to retain additional charge as Principal Secretary of Finance Department and Principal Secretary of Energy Department. The additional appointment of Vishal Kumar Dev as Principal Secretary of Energy Department shall cease upon Mishra assuming office.

Usha Padhee, IAS (RR-1996), Principal Secretary of SD & TE Department with the additional charge of Principal Secretary of C & T Department, is permitted to retain additional charge as Principal Secretary of Housing & Urban Development Department.

Vishal Kumar Dev, IAS (RR-1996), Principal Secretary of Finance Department, with the additional charge of Chairman, GRIDCO and Principal Secretary of E & IT Department is appointed as Principal Secretary E & IT Department. He is permitted to retain additional charge as Chairman, OFDC, the notification added.

IAS Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma, Commissioner, Land Records & Settlement, Odisha, is appointed as Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Sports & YS Department. The additional appointment of R Vineel Krishna as Commissioner-cum-Secretary of Sports & YS Department shall cease upon Sarma assuming office.

R Vineel Krishna has been appointed as Commissioner, Land Records & Settlement, Odisha.
