Odisha excise ASI lands in vigilance net for possessing disproportionate assets  

An assistant sub-inspector of the excise department has come under the scanner of the Odisha vigilance department for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets.

The vigilance teams today carried out simultaneous searches at four places linked to Sudipta Dash in Nayagarh and Khordha districts. Dash is an excise ASI of Balugaon Circle in Khordha. 

Four DSPs, six inspectors and other staff are conducting the searches on the strength of search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar. 

Till the filing of the last report, the searches were in progress. 

The following places have been searched by the Vigilance teams

1. Residential house of Sri Dash at Nayagarh.
 2. Residential house of Sri Dash on rent at Nayagarh. 
3. His rented residential house at Balugaon. 
4. His office at Balugaon Excise Circle.
