Odisha Common PG Entrance Test 2023 schedule announced; check details

The Odisha Higher Education Department on Wednesday announced the schedule for the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET-2023) and e-Admission for the Session 2023-24 in State Public Universities and Colleges with PG Courses under the project 'Student Academic Management System (SAMS).

As per the notification, the tests will be held from June 23 to July 4 with June 28 and 30 as off days.

The schedule is as follows

- Availability of online Common Application Form (CAF) on the website www.samsodisha.gov.in: May 1, 2023 (02:00 PM)

- Last date of applying online CAF through www.samsodisha.gov.in: May 10, 2023 (11:45 PM)

- Editing of the CAF (if required) for the CAF submitted earlier (No fresh CAF will be allowed during this period): May 11, 2023, & May 12, 2023

- Submission of applicant's data to State Selection Board (SSB): May 16, 2023

- Availability of Hall Tickets on the website of the State Selection Board (SSB) i.e. https://ssbodisha.ac.in as well as on the SAMS website & admit card download: Jun 9, 2023 (02:00 PM onwards)

- Conduct of Entrance Examination (CPET-2023): Jun 23, 2023, to Jul 4, 2023 (except 28-Jun-2023 and 30-Jun-2023)

- Handing over the entrance marks to OCAC by SSB, Odisha: July 16, 2023

- Updation of Graduation/Equivalent marks by the applicant: Jul 8, 2023 (10:00 AM) to Jul 15, 2023 (11:45 PM)

Dates for publication of subject-wise and State-wide merit list, choice filling by eligible applicants and publication of provisional allotment of seats for different rounds will be notified by the Higher Education Department later.

Candidates, whose final U.G. results are awaited (not published), can also apply online in the Common Application Form (CAF) to appear in the CPET-2023. However, they must upload their marks prior to preparation of "subject-wise and state-wide provisional rank" within the timeline, failing which; their applications will not be considered.

Any changes in the timeline will be published in the newspapers as well as on the website www.samsodisha.gov.in. Common Prospectus (CP) for CPET-2023 will be available on the said website.
