Odisha Vigilance raided 11 sites linked to Civil Supplies Officer Suresh Kumar Panigrahi over disproportionate asset allegations. Key locations include Bhubaneswar and Bargarh.

The Odisha Vigilance on Wednesday conducted simultaneous raids at 11 places linked to Suresh Kumar Panigrahi, Civil Supplies Officer (CSO), Subarnapur on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets (DA) to his known sources of income.

Simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by two Additional SPs, three DSPs, seven Inspectors, and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by the Ld. Special Judge, Vigilance, Bolangir at the following 11 places in Bhubaneswar, Bolangir, Subarnapur, and Bargarh.

A resident of Bargarh, Panigrahi owns a residential house at Bolangir, a farmhouse and fly ash bricks factory at his native place, and a petrol pump in the name of his cousin. If reports are to be believed, he also has a rented flat at Patia Bhubaneswar’s Mani Tribhuban.

The raids are on in the following locations: 

1) Residential house of Panigrahi at Tulasi Nagar, Bolangir town.
2) His office chamber at Subarnapur.
3) His paternal house at his native place at village. Balanda, Bijepur, Dist- Bargarh.
4) Rented flat No. 7BD, 2nd Tower at Mani Tribhuban, Patia, Bhubaneswar.
5) Rented house of Panigrahi at Sonepur Town.
6)  House of his relative at Tulasi Nagar, Bolangir.
7) Rented house of his relative at Flat No. 418, 5th Tower, Royal Lagoon, Patia, Bhubaneswar.
8) Rented house of his cousin at Gangadhar Sahi, Bargarh.
9) His Fly Ash Bricks factory and Farmland at village- Balanda, Bijepur, Bargarh.
10) Sidheswari Petrol Pump in the name of his cousin at Pahandi, Bijepur, Bargarh.
11) House of his another relative at village- Balanda, Bijepur, Dist- Bargarh.
