CHSE Plus 2 Exam 2025: Council Issues Guidelines For CCTV

Ahead of the 2025 Plus II examination, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has issued strict instructions to principals of high schools to submit a status report regarding installation of CCTV cameras in their respective institutions.

CHSE has clearly stated that it is mandatory on the part of all high secondary schools affiliated to the Council to record the proceedings of the strong room, centre superintendent office, examination hall/rooms and all laboratories in CCTV cameras. Apart from this, the concerned officials have been asked to ensure that live streaming feed is made available to CHSE, School and Mass Education Department and District Collectorate for monitoring and appropriate surveillance.

If CCTV cameras have not been installed, steps should be taken in this regard. The CCTV cameras must be tested and kept in readiness so that they can be used on the day of receipt of question papers in the strong room and from the first day of examination.

The High Secondary schools which have applied for new examination centre must ensure installation of CCTV in their examination halls and centre superintendent room. The concerned officials have been asked to submit a status report on CCTV by November 14, 2024.

“Failure of any high secondary school, colleges to install CCTV, and to comply with the above instructions by November 14 may compel the Council to cancel the exam centre (both theory and practical) and report to the government for taking appropriate action against the defaulting high secondary schools,” the CHSE said in its letter.
