Odisha CM ensures swift medical aid for ailing child from Boudh
In a rapid response to an urgent medical plea, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has taken decisive steps to facilitate medical treatment for a seven-year-old patient from Boudh on Monday.
Upon being informed about the medical condition of Pratyush Giri, from Boudh district, who is suffering from an unidentified ailment leading to loss of sight in both his eyes, the Chief Minister’s grievance cell acted promptly.
Despite extensive efforts by Pratush’s family members and expenditure on healthcare, there had been no improvement in his health condition. Due to their financial constraint and helplessness, the child’s father, Herambha Giri, sought assistance from the Chief Minister.
Acknowledging the critical nature of the ailment, Chief Minister Majhi promptly arranged for an ambulance to transport Pratyush to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack for thorough treatment.
