In a piece of amusing news for the sports enthusiasts of Odisha, a die-hard fan of star batsman Virat Kohli from the State has been included in the official promo of the upcoming ODI World Cup released by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Meet cricket fanatic Pintu Behera from Berhampur who has painted several tattoos of former Team India captain Kohli on various parts of his body like hand, belly, back, hands, legs and many other portions.

Along with Pintu, legendry cricketer Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar’s die-hard fan Sudhir Chaudhary and many eminent cricketers across the world are also part of the promo. Star Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has lent the voice in the promo.
 

“I had a dream to meet Virat Sir. After meeting him, I am getting so many new offers. I am so happy to be included in the ODI World Cup promo released by ICC,” said Pintu.

“After becoming the fan of Virat, I am getting a lot of respect. I can do anything for him,” he added.

The ardent fan of Kohli revealed that he met former South Africa cricketer JP Duminy and India spinner Murali Karthik during the shooting of the promo. All the cricketers used to call him DK as he resembles a bit with wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik.

“All the cricketers present during the promo were so happy to find such a crazy fan of Kohli. They talked freely with me and gave me many compliments. I was part of the shooting for more than two hours,” said Pintu.

“Virat is a fitness freak. I am also preparing myself to chisel a body like Virat during the upcoming World Cup to be played in India in October,” he added.
