The Ministry of Law and Justice notified the appointment of Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra, Judge of Uttarakhand High Court as Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court on Friday.
On December 13, 2022, the Supreme Court Collegium had sent the recommendation of Sanjay Kumar Mishra’s name to the Central Government.
Born in Bolangir, Justice Mishra was elevated as a judge of the Orissa High Court in 2009. Later, he was transferred to the Uttarakhand High Court.
