Odisha BJP President Manmohan Samal announced the formation of a new organisational Committee through a constitutional process, following discussions in Delhi. The committee will include 25 new faces, balancing experience and freshness. No discussions on Cabinet reshuffle yet, but corporation posts to be filled timely. Ready to face any no-confidence motion by Congress.

After returning from Delhi, Odisha BJP President Manmohan Samal on Saturday revealed that the party’s new organisational Committee will be formed through a constitutional process. He stated that detailed discussions were held in Delhi regarding the party’s internal elections and upcoming structural changes.

Samal said the new BJP team in Odisha will include 25% new faces, while both experienced and fresh leaders will find a place in the restructured committee. There will be a healthy balance between old and new members to strengthen the party at all levels.

On the possibility of a Cabinet reshuffle, Samal clarified that no discussions have taken place yet on that front. However, he mentioned that corporation posts will be filled at the appropriate time.

Meanwhile, commenting on the Congress party's reported plan to move a no-confidence motion, Samal said, Opposition parties have the right to bring no-confidence motions. If they do, we are ready to face it.

“There was no discussion on the Cabinet reshuffle; rather, discussions were made organizational structure. A new committee will be formed. Congress can bring the no-confidence motion, and BJD can support it. We are ready to face it,” said Samal.

BJP State In-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar echoed similar views and said all necessary decisions will be taken at the right time, keeping in mind the political developments in the state.

“No discussion made on the Cabinet reshuffle. We had discussions on State executives, office bearers, boards and corporations. The six vacant minister posts will be filled soon,” said Tomar.
