An Odia model, Santosh Kumar walked the ramp at the Lakme Fashion Week 2023 held in Delhi recently.
The five-day fiesta began on October 10 and continued till October 15 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi where leading designers from India showcased their collections.
Santosh Kumar was the only male model to walk the ramp at this year’s Lakme Fashion Week.
As per reports, Santosh started his career in modelling two years back after winning Mr Koraput pageant at his hometown.
Speaking about his achievement, Santosh said, "I have made it to the Lakme Fashion Week with the blessings of Lord Jagannath and my parents. My mentors and teachers hjelped me a lot too. I would like to urge all of myn wellwishers to keep showering their love and blessings on me so that I can climb the ladder of success."
Many world-famous designers showcased their creations through models in the fashion week. Among them was New York-based Indian designer Bibhu Mohapatra who presented his 'Come Home' collection in collaboration with Lakme.
Having made a name for himself through his stunning designs, Mohapatra paid homage to these iconic muses via a collection that perfectly brought together classic and contemporary beauty and fashion. Muses from both past and present included Ananya Panday, Lisa Haydon, Bipasha Basu, Vipasha Agarwal, Simone Singh, Carol Gracias, and Shimona Nath.
