Ahead of the crucial 2024 battle, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has come up with special strategy for its mission to come to power in Odisha. A delegation of the BJP legislators and MPs from Odisha recently held a crucial meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party national president JP Nadda and other central leaders in New Delhi.

Upon return, Leader of Opposition (LoP) Jayanarayan Mishra informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister, Defence Minister and other Union Ministers will visit Odisha in the coming days.

“We met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party National President JP Nadda and the meeting was fruitful. Discussions were held on reaching out to 1 crore people in Odisha,” said Mishra.

Mishra further informed that the party will no longer go soft on Odisha government, rather it will be a war this time. “There is no question of going soft and the fight will be equal,” said Mishra while exuding confidence in the party workers ahead of the 2024 general elections.

Bharatiya Janata Party’s state unit President, Manmohan Samal on Saturday said that, "People in Odisha will change the government. In 2019, we were polled 15 percent more votes compared to the previous election. As the people are dissatisfied with the BJD government, they will vote for a change. This time, our vote share will be 50 percent."
