In a major twist to the mysterious death of DJ Azex, aka Akshay Kumar, police now suspect that breakup with his rumoured girlfriend, Jigyansa might be the reason behind the DJ's death.
According to sources, the relationship between Azex and Jigyansa turned bitter after the latter found that the DJ has reportedly developed an affair with another girl.
Meanwhile, the police reportedly got evidence of the conference call between the trio-- DJ Azex, Jigyansa and the other girl. Now, the police seems to have turned the angle of the investigating towards the love-triangle, sources informed.
Notably, the autopsy report of DJ Azex, which came yesterday, revealed that the artist died of asphyxiation and his body had ligature marks.
Notably, DJ Azex, one of the most prominent DJs in Odisha, was reportedly found dead under mysterious circumstances in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
As per the family members of the deceased, there was a power cut during a thunderstorm on Saturday and Azex was inside his room. When they went to call him at around 10 pm, they found his door closed. Later, they found his body hanging after they broke open the door.
Later, the family members of Azex alleged murder and accused his rumoured girlfriend and another youth to be the main conspirators behind the incident.
The Kharavela Nagar Police on Monday had registered a case under Section 306 (abetment to suicide) in connection with the case.
