Leader of Opposition (LoP) and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik is reportedly unwell and has been admitted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar. According to initial information, the veteran leader complained of uneasiness following which he was shifted to the hospital for treatment and observation.
Sources said that doctors have conducted preliminary examinations and are closely monitoring his health condition. While details about the nature of his illness are yet to be officially confirmed, hospital authorities are expected to issue a statement soon.
It may be recalled that Naveen Patnaik had earlier undergone a surgery in Mumbai, where he had spent a few days under specialist care. His present illness has once again raised concerns among his supporters and party workers, many of whom have gathered outside the hospital to pray for his speedy recovery.
