Narrow escape for passengers of Jharsuguda-Gondia train
The Jharsuguda-Gondia passenger train escaped a major tragedy at Jharsuguda railway station. Sources said that an overhead electrical wire snapped after the train came in contact while it was approaching the Platform Number 2.
Panic gripped the passengers after they heard a loud noise following the wire breakage. Luckily, no injuries or casualty was reported in the mishap.
Railway officials responded swiftly and undertook an immediate repair work. Their efficient handling allowed the train to resume service after a delay of approximately two and a half hours.
