Multiple bombings over group clash leave two injured in Khordha village

Two persons were seriously injured after multiple bombs were allegedly hurled at Taraboi village under Khordha’s Jatni block late on Monday night.

The bombings were reportedly the fallout of a group clash that erupted after a minor altercation.

The injured were rushed to a hospital for treatment. They were discharged on Tuesday.

As per reports, a man was going on the road in Taraboi village on Monday night when a group of people reportedly passed vulgar comments on him. The man went back home and called some of his supporters, who then returned to the spot to face off with the earlier group.

A scuffle erupted which soon snowballed into a full-fledged group clash. Bombs were hurled which resulted in the injury of two and damage to three bikes.

A complaint was lodged at the Jatni Police Station, which is probing the incident. No arrests were made till the filing of this report.
