SUBHADRA Yojana applicants
Highlighting complaints regarding money being demanded by Anganwadi workers from beneficiaries for providing and filling up the application forms for the Subhadra Yojana, the Odisha govt shot out a letter to the concerned collectors to enquire such practices and take stringent action.
The Department of Women and Child Development, in its letter to the district Collectors of Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kendrapara and Puri, said, “As per feedback received from Subhadra toll-free helpline number, it has been alleged that AWWs of some of the Projects are demanding money from the beneficiaries for providing the application form and its fill up.”
