Miscreants assault employees inside Tarang studio campus in Khordha

Some employees of Tarang Studio at Sarua in Khordha district sustained grievous injuries after they were allegedly attacked by some miscreants on Friday.

As per reports, the miscreants broke into the premises of the studio and assaulted the employees in the afternoon. They also used abusive language to threaten the employees.

The entire incident has been caught on the CCTV cameras installed on the studio premises.

The injured employees have lodged an FIR at Baghamari Police Station in this connection. A counter FIR has also been lodged at the police station from the opposite party.

However, police have not arrested anyone in connection with the incident so far.

“The incident happened at around 5pm. We heard loud noises while shooting inside the studio. When I came out I saw a large gathering. I don’t know the exact reason behind the altercation,” said Gyana, an employee.

As per sources, food from outside and use of polythene have been banned inside the Tarang studio canteen. However, when the canteen authorities asked some outsiders not to bring food in the polythene to the canteen, the miscreants reportedly got irked and launched a deadly attack on the canteen employees.
