Minor girl from Uttar Pradesh found hanging in Bhubaneswar

Mystery shrouded the death of a minor girl after she was found hanging inside a house in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.

As per sources, the deceased is from Uttar Pradesh and her body was recovered from a house in Sriram Nagar slum area under Mancheswar police station in the Capital City.

Upon being informed, Mancheswar police reached the spot immediately and started an investigation into the incident with the help of a scientific team.

However, it is yet to be ascertained whether it was a suicide or murder case. As the house was locked from outside, it is suspected that the girl might have been murdered.

The minor girl was reportedly staying in a woman’s house in the slum as a maid. According to the woman, the girl was in a love relationship and she locked the house from outside fearing that the girl might elope with her lover. The woman claimed that the girl has committed suicide.
