Minor boy hacks father over disagreement on haircut in Odisha 

In a shocking incident, a minor boy allegedly hacked his father with a sharp weapon following an argument over a haircut. The unusual event took place on Saturday morning in Belbaria village under Sadar police limits in Balasore district.

According to sources, the boy, a class 10 student, returned home after getting a haircut. However, his father, identified as Keshab Mohanty, disapproved of the hairstyle, leading to a heated argument between the two.

In a fit of rage, the boy reportedly assaulted his father and struck him with a sharp object, injuring him. Though no official police complaint has been lodged so far, the incident has become the talk of the local area, leaving residents both shocked and concerned.

Though the local residents have refrained from commenting anything on the matter before the camera, they have expressed concern over the growing influence of modern trends and the strained communication between parents and children.
