Ahead of the 'Shaheed Saptah' or 'martyrs' week', the CPI (Maoists) have made their presence felt by putting up posters at two places including the Paikamal area in Bargarh district.

As per initial reports, the rebels have also put up posters in Jamseth area. In the posters, the ultras have opposed the casteism prevalent in the society and vowed to bring a revolution.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Maoists have called for observance of the 'Shaheed Saptah' from July 28 to August 3 and the poster has been put up by Maoist divisions of Bolangir, Bargarh, and Mahasamund areas.
