Puri Srimandir
The ornaments of Lord Jagannath will be shifted to the permanent Ratna Bhandar of the Puri Srimandir on Tuesday, and public darshan at the temple will be suspended from 10:00 AM to facilitate the relocation, officials said on Monday.
Following the transfer, the Nata Mandap and Jagamohan will be cleaned. Devotees will not be permitted inside the main sanctum or the Jhulan Mandap during the operation. Normal temple operations will resume once the relocation is complete.
The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has asked devotees who wish to receive Mahaprasad to visit Anand Bazar during the suspension of darshan.
Officials say preparatory steps are already underway, a detailed schedule meeting has been conducted and the transfer of ornaments and valuables as per the Ratna Bhandar guidelines set by the Committee overseeing the process.
