Sixth Class student Sai Sukanya Mohanty and her family members from Bhadrak are on cloud nine as Lord Jagannath and His elder brother Lord Balabhadra accepted her rakhi.

As per reports, Sukanya from Bamana Bindha village in the district had sent rakhis to Lord Jagannath and Lord Balabhadra in Puri by addressing them as her brothers on the occasion of Shrabana Purnima.

The little girl had sent an emotional letter to Sri Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) as well requesting them to tie the rackhis to the wrists of Lord Jagannath and Lord Balabhadra. Moreover, the ardent devotee of Lord Jagannath had also sent Rs 500 for offering sweets to the deities.
