The Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre issued alerts for dense fog for several districts of Odisha. At the same time, light rain is predicted in some parts of Odisha.

As per reports, excessive moisture in the air is aiding the fog situation in Odisha.

Meanwhile the India Meteorological Department has issued yellow warning for dense fog over several districts.

Day 1 (Valid from 8:30 am of Feb 5 to 8:30 am of Feb 6)

Yellow Warning

Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Nayagarh, Khordha and Puri.

Day 2 (Valid from 8:30am of Feb 6 to 8:30am of Feb 7)

Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest of the districts of Odisha.

Day 3 (Valid from 8:30am of Feb 7 to 8:30am of Feb 8)

Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Deogarh and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest of the districts of Odisha.

Day 4 (Valid from 8:30am of Feb 8 to 8:30am of Feb 9)

Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha, Rayagada, Kandhamal and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest of the districts of Odisha.

As per the Bhubaneswar Met Centre, there will be no major change in minimum temperature (night temperature) during the next 4-5 days at many places over the districts of Odisha.
