As per reports, the accused has been working as a professor at a law university. He was staying with his father at Rangamatia apartment under Mancheswar police station in the Capital City.

Reportedly, the accused allegedly stabbed the retired NALCO official with a knife to death following an altercation with his father. However, the cause of the altercation is yet to be revealed.

“We just reached the spot and started the investigation. The accused has been detained and his questioning is currently underway. More information about the incident could be divulged after the investigation,” said Bhubaneswar ACP Goutam Kisan.
