Lady lecturers accuse Baripada MPC College principal of harassment, complaint filed

Four lady lecturers of Maharaja Purna Chandra Autonomous College in Baripada have brought serious allegations of harassment and racial slur against the Principal of the institution.

As per the complaint, the Principal, Subhankar Sahu has allegedly misbehaved with the lady lecturers, used racial comments and sent them WhatsApp texts and calls late in the night with malicious intention.

A complaint has been filed against Sahu at the Town Police Station in Baripada in this regard.

However, Sahu refuted all the allegations and claimed that complainants were trying to tarnish his image in order to cover up their poor performance at college.

Speaking to OTV, Sahu said, “As the Principal, I have to send Performance Appraisal Report (PAR) of all the lecturers to the government every year. Their (Complainants') reports are not good this year. I think they have labelled false allegations against me because of the reports.”

“There is no question of misbehaviour. I have never misbehaved with them. The allegations are baseless,” Sahu added.
