As per the notification released by the Home Department of the Government of Odisha, five IPS officers have been transferred from their present place of posting.

IPS reshuffle in Odisha: Two districts get new SPs

The Odisha government on Friday effected a reshuffle in the IPS cadre by shifting five officials from their present place of posting.

As per the notification released by the Home Department of the Government of Odisha, Shefeen Ahmad K, a 2003-batch IPS officer, who is presently working as Inspector General of Police at the Human Rights Protection Cell (HRPC) of the Odisha Police, has been posted as the IGP of CID, Crime Branch. 

Sarthak Sarangi, a 2007-batch IPS officer, who is now working as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police at Odisha Police headquarters, has been posted as DIG, Fire Services and Home Guard.

Similarly, Satyajit Nayak, a 2008-batch IPS officer has been shifted and posted as DIG of HRPC. 
2011-batch IPS officer, Jugal Kishore Kumar Banoth has been transferred from his present post of Cuttack SP and appointed as AIG, Police Headquarters. 

Rahul Jain, a 2015 batch IPS officer, who is working as the SP, Police Headquarters, has been transferred and posted as Nayagarh SP. 

Mihir Kumar Panda (OPS), who is presently working as the SP, Police Headquarters, has been appointed as Cuttack SP.
