Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA) on Saturday celebrated its 61st foundation day. On this occasion, several programmes were organised at different locations in Jajpur and Cuttack districts.

Special programmes were held at the company premises in Sukinda mines area of Jajpur district. Sand artist Santosh Pradhan extended his best wishes through his sand art on the occasion. 

Similarly, IMFA also celebrated the occasion in Mangalpur panchayat under Choudwar tehsil in Cuttack district. Gifts were distributed among the inmates of ‘Bharasa Balashram’, located in the panchayat. 

Among others, Deputy General Manager, IMFA, Choudwar G Sarada Prasad Rao attended the event. 

“Today is the 61st foundation day of our company IMFA. It is also the birthday of our founder chairman Bansidhar Panda. Our employees today came to the balashram voluntarily and spent time with the inmates. This is the main activity of the foundation day,” informed G Sarada Prasad Rao, Deputy General Manager, IMFA, Choudwar.  

“Today we would like to extend our gratitude to IMFA. On the occasion of its foundation day, it treated our children with sweets. We hope we will continue to receive their support in the coming days,” said Dipali Mohanty of the balashram.
