The Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Limited (IMFA) group is widely acclaimed for its humanitarian activities and contributions towards developmental causes.

On Monday, the company’s Vice President (Power) Binoy Agrawalla, in presence of Souvic Biswal, MLA, Choudwar, Cuttack, facilitated multiple developmental activities under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of Bansidhar and Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF).

As per the media briefing by MLA Souvic Biswal, he said; “We had requested for some help under the company’s CSR fund in response to which the company has donated 40 ceiling fans to Choudwar Circle Jail along with the inauguration of senior citizens club in OTM Colony located in ward no 12, and two kitchens at Laxmi Narayan temple in ward no 7.”

He further added, “IMFA has also distributed two computers, one to Kapaleswar School, and another to Daulatabad, Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir (SSVM) School.”

Meanwhile, IMFA’s VP Binoy Agrawalla said, “We have visited every community centre and kitchen located over six places today, along with the donation of ceiling fans to Choudwar Jail. The company is continuously trying to serve people, and we will ensure providing help to the needful on humanitarian grounds.”

Recently, BIPF, the CSR wing of IMFA, received the FICCI’s award of appreciation for its work under the ‘Sakshyam’ project on December 12, 2022. The Sakshyam comprises several livelihood and skill development projects such as ‘Unnati’ and ‘Yuva Sakshyam’ for empowering rural women and youth.
