‘I am opposed even within Congress’: Tara Prasad Bahinipati makes explosive statement

In an explosive statement, senior Congress leader and Jeypore MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati said that he is opposed even inside his own party.

In a stunning revelation, Bahinipati said that nobody is on the same page with others in Congress and the situation is making the real party workers miserable.

“Fissures are growing within Congress. However, nobody is concerned about the interest of the party. Everyone is trying for their self gain. People will not forgive this,” said Bahinipati.

“I am opposed by BJD, BJP and even Congress. As a result, I have confined myself to my own constituency,” he added.

The senior leader of the grand old party also said that people are sick of BJD and the party got defeated due to Odia ‘Asmita’ factor.

“BJP came to power as performance of Congress was not good. However, if we manage to keep ourselves united during the Panchayat election, Congress will emerge victorious,” said Bahinipati.

However, no reactions could be obtained from BJP and BJD in this regard.

As per several political experts, Bahinipati’s statement indicates that all is not well within the Congress party. Earlier a couple of days back, senior leader Bijay Patnaik resigned from the Odisha Congress.
