Heavy rainfall likely in Odisha: Yellow warning issued for 10 districts
The IMD’s regional centre in Bhubaneswar has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain for ten districts on October 1.
In its evening weather bulletin, the regional centre has issued a yellow warning for ten districts including Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Ganjam, Gajapati, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi and Kandhamal.

Thunderstorms with lightning are very likely to be witnessed at isolated places in the above-mentioned districts.
“Thunderstorms with lightning very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Ganjam, Gajapati, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi and Kandhamal,” read the forecast.
Worth mentioning that there has been no warning issued for October 2, 3 and 4.
