Heat wave: Check school opening dates and class timings in Western Odisha districts

In view of the prevailing heat wave, the administrations of western Odisha districts have announced their school reopening dates and class schedules.

While several districts have decided to reopen the schools on June 22, some others preferred to resume classes from June 23.

There will be morning classes in the schools across the western Odisha districts.

Check timetable

1. Schools in Jharsuguda will reopen on June 22. There will be morning classes which will continue till June 24.
2. There will be morning classes from June 22 to 24 in Sambalpur. The classes will continue till 10 am.
3. In Sonepur district, schools will reopen on June 23 and the morning classes will continue till June 24. The classes will be held from 6.30 am to 9.30 am.
4. There will be morning classes in schools across Bolangir from June 22 to 24.
5. In Sundargarh and Nuapada districts, the schools will reopen on June 23.
6. The classes will be held at regular timings from June 26.
