Odisha Governor Raghubar Das arrived at Sambalpur on Monday on a one-day visit.

Das was there to join many programmes scheduled for him.

After his arrival in Sambalpur, he visited the Urban Health Centre (UHC) at Dhanakauda where he discussed the problems with the CDMO, health workers and ASHA workers.

Das also interacted with the patients outside the hospital and took suggestions regarding ways to improve healthcare in the area.

“The Governor visited Dhanakauda UHC today. He interacted with doctors and paramedical staff. There was another interaction programme with the patients to take feedback from them about the healthcare at the centre,” said Sambalpur CDMO, Purnachandra Sahu.

Notably, Governor Das had visited Rayagada district on Friday. He visited Gumma village under Sadar block by road from Koraput. The Governor offered Rs 25,000 financial assistance to one Lalita Bidika who did not have anything to survive on.

Das discussed with members of three Self Help Groups in Gumma before moving to Kadapadi Anganwadi Centre to speak with children.
