Goods train rolls leaving behind 8 wagons near Titilagarh Railway Station

 Several wagons of a coal-laden goods train got detached from the engine near Titilagarh Railway Station in Bolangir district on Wednesday. As per initial reports, eight wagons of the goods train got decoupled near the Khajurpada railway crossing.

The goods train was on its way to Titilagarh from Sambalpur when some of its wagons got detached from the engine. The matter came to light after the train’s guard informed about the matter to the driver.

By that time, the goods train engine had already covered a distance of over one kilometre. Later efforts were undertaken to reconnect the wagons of the goods train.
