Goods train derails in Bhubaneswar; multiple trains cancelled, rescheduled; check full list

As many as two trains have been cancelled and six rescheduled after a goods train derailed at the Mancheswar Station yard in Bhubaneswar at around 1.30 am on Monday. Fortunately, no casualties were reported following the mishap.

"The down line was cleared for the train movement at around 5 am and now the trains are running in both Up and Down lines, the release stated adding that there is no damage to life or property in the incident," East Coast Railway said in a release.

Meanwhile, the Rourkela-Puri-Rourkela express has also been short-terminated between Angul and Puri in both directions following the accident.
