According to sources, PM Modi is expected to flag off three Vande Bharat trains– Tatanagar-Patna, Deogarh-Banaras, and Tatanagar to Brahmapur.
The Tatanagar- Brahmapur Vande Bharat train will leave Tatanagar and reach Brahmapur station via Rajkharsawan, Chaibasa, Dangwaposi, Banshpani, Kenujhargarh, Harischandrapur, Sukina Road, Jahkpura to Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, and Khurda Road.
The distance from Tata to Brahmapur is 586 km and the journey will take just six to eight hours for the semi high-speed train. The timetable of the train will be released soon by the Railway Board.
The train expansion aims to boost connectivity and development across the key regions. The train will reportedly run six days a week, offering faster travel options for commuters and will mark another milestone in India’s rail network expansion.
