Girl student of Central University of Odisha found hanging in hostel 

A girl student was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a hostel of the Central University of Odisha in Koraput on Saturday. 

The deceased student hailing from Kendrapara was studying in the first year of MA in Mathematics. However, the reason for her death could not be ascertained immediately.

As per reports, the girl student had not opened the door of her hostel room since Friday night. One of her classmates suspected something fishy. As she opened the door, she was shocked to see the body hanging from a ceiling fan. 

Sources said, police retrieved the body for post-mortem and started an investigation into the matter. However, the reaction of the police was not received.
