Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari
The general public will evaluate the work of the officials in the Revenue Department by giving them marks, said Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari while attending a public hearing programme in Jharsuguda on Saturday.
According to Minister Pujari, registers will be kept in all the offices of the Revenue Department like the Tehsil office and the Sub-Registrar office that provides revenue services and the general people will evaluate the officials by giving them marks.
“I have directed to keep registers in all the offices under the Revenue Department and it will take some time. The general public coming to the offices to access revenue service will mark the officials out of a total of 10. They will give marks both through on-line and off-line mode,” said Pujari.
“The Revenue Department officials will be the students and the public will be the teachers. The public will evaluate the work of the officials by giving them marks. The department will think about the officials who will frequently get below 10 marks,” he added.
