General Elections 2024: ECI team to review poll preparedness in Odisha from Feb 15-17

The Election Commission and other officers are all set to visit Odisha and review preparedness for the 2024 General Elections. As per an official notification, Chief Election Commissioner of India Rajiv Kumar, Election Commissioner of India Arun Goel, Deputy Election Commissioner Dharmendra Sharma and other officials are scheduled to arrive in Odisha on February 15, 2024.

The top officials are scheduled to review the 2024 general election preparedness in Odisha for two days till February 17. The Election Commission will hold discussions with national and state-recognised political parties, DEOs, SPs, CPs, Divisional Commissioners, IGs on the first day of their visit to Odisha.

On the second day, the Commission will hold review meetings with the Chief Electoral Officer, State Police Nodal Officer, CPF Nodal Officer, enforcement agencies, Odisha Chief Secretary and DGP.
