Gajapati Maharaja, family members get Adapa Darshan of Lord Jagannath & siblings

Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb and his family members got Adapa Darshan of the Holy Trinity at the Gundicha temple in Puri on Tuesday. 

Divyasingha Deb’s wife Maharani Lilabati Pattamahadei and other family members paid obeisance to the sibling deities on the occasion of Nabami Sandhya Darshan.

Gajapati Maharaja will sweep the floor of three chariots as part of the Chhera Panhara ritual on Bahuda Jatra tomorrow.

“We get the information about Gajapati Maharaj’s visit to Adapa Mandapa yesterday only. As Adapa Darshan is going on in a disciplined manner today, Gajapati Maharaj and his family members had a smooth darshan. No special rituals were performed during Gajapati’s visit,” said Beherakarana servitor Satya Shiva Sundara Chyau Patnaik.

Meanwhile, Gajapati Maharaja prayed before the Lord for the smooth conduct of Bahuda Yatra.

“We are blessed and fortunate to get darshan of the Holy Trinity as part of holy Adapa Mandap Darshan today. The darshan is going on smoothly due to beautiful weather and Lord’s wish. I pray before the Lord for the smooth and disciplined conduct of Bahuda Yatra tomorrow,” said Gajapati Divyasingha Deb after his visit to Gundicha temple.
