From horse to dog, unconditional bond between pet parents and their companions
Friendship is a universal language spoken through gestures, loyalty and shared moments. However, when we think of friendship, we often imagine human interactions. Yet, some of the most profound and unconditional bonds are shared with our pets.
There are many pet parents who share an incredible bonhomie with their pets, demonstrating the true essence of friendship.
Meet Arjit Pattnaik, a class 9 student from Rasulgarh area in Bhubaneswar, who shares an unconditional bond with his horse Tuff and dog Mac.
“I have a rottweiler and horse as my pets. While I have grown up with my furry friend, the horse is the new addition to our family. Even though they are animals, they never fail to understand my emotions and usher conditional love,” Arijit said.
Sharing details about the bonhomie with his pets, Arjit said, “I and my pets are two sides of a coin and we complete each other. When I am in stress, I always love to spend time with them. They are not only my stress busters but true companions.”
Arjit, who also loves to ride his horse, said “Tuff is so obedient and caring that it was a joy to learn horse riding with him. Every time I got on to his back for a ride, he supported me.”
Raj Kamal Singh, from Cuttack is also an avid animal lover and shares an unconditional bond with his pets that includes dogs and horses.
Raj Kamal is a proud pet parent to three horses- Chetak, Raftar and Sultan and four dogs- Pitbull, Rottweiler, American Bully and French Mastiff.
Sharing his bonding with the animals, Singh said, “Managing three horses and four dogs is not an easy task. However, I leave no stone unturned to make sure my animal friends get proper care and affection.”
“No matter how tight is my work schedule, I always find time to spend with my horses and dogs as they don’t expect anything from me other than some love and affection. Last year, I had a severe accident and they were my great healer at that point of time,” Singh added.
Despite all odds and my ailing health condition, my love and affection has remained constant for my animal friends, Singh stated.
