Mrunal Manmay Dash

A fresh low pressure area has formed over West-central and adjoining North-west Bay of Bengal off north Andhra Pradesh-south Odisha coast, informed the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre on Monday.

The Low Pressure area formed at 1730 hrs IST on Monday under the influence of an existing cyclonic circulation.

As per the IMD report, it is likely to concentrate into a depression over the same region around July 26, 2023. Subsequently, it is likely to move slowly west-northwestwards across north Andhra Pradesh-south Odisha coasts.

Yellow Warning: Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nabarangapur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Bolangir, Nayagarh, Khorda, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Mayurbhanj.
