Fraud slur on Varsha Priyadarshini: Actress cries conspiracy, threatens legal action

Actress Varsha Priyadarshini, who is in news for the legal battle with her estranged husband and MP Anubhav Mohanty, recently got embroiled in a fresh controversy. 

An FIR was lodged against her for allegedly duping a woman on promise of job. The FIR was lodged by Kalyani Nayak, who lives in Satyakali slum under Saheed Nagar police limits. She alleged that Varsha and her associate Ayushi duped her of Rs 30,000 on the pretext of providing her a job in a jewellery shop.

However, the actress dismissed the allegations as false and baseless and threatened to take legal route to ensure that her conspirators are punished.

“The way news without any truth are being telecast is really unfortunate. The allegations which have been levelled against me have disturbed me mentally. That’s why, I will take the legal route against those who brought such disgraceful allegations against me and will try that they will get adequate punishment,” Varsha said in a statement on her Twitter. 

The actress alleged, “Since 2020, conspiracies are being hatched against me in every sphere of life by levelling many false allegations with an intention to suppress me. However, I have immense faith on Lord Jagannath and I will not give up no matter whatever obstacles come in my way.”

She added that the truth always wins and the same will happen in this case too.
