Former Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan hospitalised; Odisha CM Mohan Majhi pays visit 

Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Tuesday met senior BJP leader and former Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan at a Bhubaneswar-based private hospital where he is undergoing treatment. 

Chief Minister Majhi wished him a speedy recovery.

The CM also held discussions with the doctors who are treating the former Governor and asked them to take special care so that he would recuperate soon. 

During the CM’s visit, the veteran BJP leader’s son and Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan was also present.  

Biswabhusan Harichandan was appointed as the 23rd Governor of Andhra Pradesh in July 2019 and as the 7th Governor of Chhattisgarh on February 23, 2023.
