Two days after the Orissa High Court granted divorce to MP Anubhav Mohanty, the actor-turned-politician on Saturday gave his statement on his long-drawn battle to get a divorce from his estranged wife and actress Varsha Priyadarshini.

“My long wait has come to an end. I would like to extend my thanks to the High Court, the advocate, and the media people. Though delayed, justice was delivered,” said the actor.

“Now I feel a bit more relaxed than before. In the coming days, I will do whatever I wish. I entered politics to serve people. If they wish, I would continue to serve them,” he added.

Notably, the Ollywood actor and BJD MP had earlier moved the Orissa High Court challenging the decision of Cuttack Family Court which had rejected his divorce petition against his wife Varsha Priyadarshini.
