Farmhouse to multi-storied buildings: 'Crorepati' Dhenkanal Forest Ranger under Vigilance scanner

Vigilance sleuths on Thursday conducted simultaneous raids at eight places associated with Bibhudananda Mishra, Forest Range Officer, Dhenkanal Range, on charges of amassing properties disproportionate to his known sources of income.

According to sources, multiple teams of the anti-corruption agency raided the properties of Mishra and his relatives located in Dhenkanal, Cuttack, and Bhubaneswar. 

The Vigilance team comprising seven DSPs, one assistant commandant, six Inspectors, six ASIs and other staff conducted searches on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack, sources informed, adding that the team found some important documents during the search.

Till the last report came in, search operations were underway.

2. Two storey building at Ratna Bazar, Dhenkanal
3. E C Broiler farm (Mishra Farmhouse) located at Rahangol, Athagarh in Cuttack 
4. Flat at Brinda Basera, GGP Colony, Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar
5. Paternal house at Birakishorepur, Athagarh in Cuttack
6. House of his relative located at Dhenkanal 
7. Office chamber at Dhenkanal      
8. Residential Govt Quarter at Dhenkanal
